With the Hierarchical and Paternal Blessings of His Grace Bishop Irinej of Washington–New York and Eastern America, the Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Cathedral Sunday School in Pittsburgh, PA is excited to announce a successful fundraiser aimed at installing a children's playground on the property of our Cathedral. With a growing number of toddlers and elementary school-aged children in our community, this playground will provide a wonderful and safe space for them to spend time and play together following the Divine Liturgy enjoying in their very own and unique communal gathering. 

We are truly blessed to have such strong support from our community. The HTC Church School extends heartfelt gratitude to all our donors, supporters, and the dedicated team of parents and faithful who made this project possible by either helping financially or by coming together to physically put together the playground during the long and hot summer days. This effort showcases the incredible sense of community that thrives here, regardless of the type of project we undertake.

Following the Divine Liturgy on Sunday, June 31st, 2024, on the First Sunday after Pentecost, Fr. Nebojsa Varagic, surrounded by the youth of our parish, blessed the newly built children’s playground. Fr. Nebojsa expressed his sincere gratitude to everyone who helped realize this great project, reminding all the present faithful that together as a community, a new and safe children’s playground has been built and secured not only for the current generation of youth, but also for future generations of our parish.
